A Sturdy Foundation

The foundation has been laid!

What an exciting time for our Parkway Christian School family. Years of support and prayers have led to this glorious day.

As you know, a sturdy foundation is everything. Without it, a building would crumble and fall.

Here's what Jesus says in Luke 6,

He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.

At Parkway, we want to build a community that is successful both academically and spiritually. In order to do that sufficiently, we must build our school on The Rock, which is Jesus Christ. Problems are inevitable, turmoil will arise, but with God at our side, we will not be shaken.

The parable in Luke continues with a warning. It says that those who build their house on the earth without a foundation will not be able to stand when the storms come.

So, what about you? What will you build your life on this year?

We are beyond excited with the progress of our new building, but we are more excited to see what Jesus has in store for our school and you, our extended family.

As the summer comes to a close and with a new season appearing on the horizon, my prayer is that you and your family will trust in the God who laid the foundations of the Earth to keep you steady and secure this year as you walk in obedience to Him.
