It's been just about two weeks since our ground breaking ceremony that happened on January 31st and the progress can already be seen. The pavilion, which oversaw many celebrations and holidays, has been demolished. Trees which once offered shade and a place for hide-and-seek are going back into the earth where they first got their start. For many, this era is bittersweet. Memories of the countless children whose lives have been changed by this school community well up in our souls.
But just as we have watched those children whom we love dearly grow into amazing children of God, we watch our school morph and change right before our eyes. The unknown can be a scary place. Already, there have been many questions about the landscape of the building project, but hopefully, you will find comfort here in this blog.
So, follow us on this journey. Before you know it, a new pavilion will be erected. Even more trees, hedges, and flowering plants will fill our landscape. And just like those trees that will find their rebirth deep in ground, we too, will rise up stronger than ever.
"Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." Isaiah 43:19
