Parkway Christian School prides itself in how well our students are prepared for the transition to high school. The Portrait of a Graduate and mission statement in action were created from the desire to ensure all students are prepared to enter a college preparatory high school and succeed.
Starting in Kindergarten Prep, students are taught responsibility and given opportunities to display their budding independence. As students grow through elementary and prepare to enter middle school, the levels of responsibility increases as students are held accountable for their actions and works.
Middle school students are given a multitude of opportunities through the three years to establish independence, self-motivation, communication skills, and interpersonal relationships, as well as focus on their personal relationship with Christ. The middle school curriculum was designed to stretch students academically and prepare students socially and emotionally for the variety of classes and experiences they will face in high school.
With a close working relationship with several college preparatory high schools, Parkway ensures students have what is necessary to be a successful high school student.
